Case Battles Guide
Compete head-to-head. Best total value wins everything.
What is Case Battles?
Case Battles take the excitement of case opening and supercharge it with head-to-head PvP competition. Two to four players enter a lobby, agree on which cases to open, and then open them simultaneously in real-time. Each player's total skin value is tallied up, and the player with the highest combined value wins everything — every skin from every player's cases. The winner-takes-all format creates incredible tension, especially in 1v1 matches where a single rare pull can flip the entire result. You can create custom battles with specific case selections, join public lobbies with strangers, or set up private matches with friends. The strategic element comes from case selection: should you pick high-variance cases that give you a shot at a massive pull, or consistent mid-tier cases that reduce the chance of a complete whiff? Experienced Case Battle players develop preferences for specific case combinations that maximize their edge in head-to-head scenarios. It's currently one of the fastest-growing game modes in CS2 gambling.

Case Battles Strategies
Join vs. Create
Joining existing battles is often better than creating them. Battle creators sometimes unknowingly pick cases with poor odds.
Case Selection
Choose cases with high variance — you need to hit the top prizes to win battles. Consistent low-value pulls won't win against lucky opponents.
1v1 Focus
Stick to 1v1 battles for better odds (50/50). 4-player battles give you only a 25% chance of winning.
Budget Battles
Start with cheap battles to learn the meta. Understand which case combinations tend to produce the most variance.
